Joining your Branch Committee workshop

If you are considering joining your Branch Committee in 2018 then this workshop is for you. 

Each of Amnesty International Australia's seven regions are led by a Branch Committee made up of up to 12 elected AIA members.

Branch Committees help motivate, coordinate and develop local human rights activism in the region and also provide regional governance.

To learn more about Branch Committees, their roles and responsibilities we invite you to attend one of these webinar sessions:

  • 7.30pm AEST Wednesday 4 April co-hosted by Carol King our New South Wales Branch President
  • 1pm AEST Saturday 7 April co-hosted by Carol King our New South Wales  Branch President

Suggested audience

Lead activists and volunteers (or activists/volunteers who want to step up into a leadership role in 2018) who are able to commit six to eight hours per month to this role.

Please note you must be a current financial member or become a member asap to nominate to join your Branch Committee. If you want to check your membership status phone 1300 300 920.
